From the San Antonio Express News:
"A speeding pickup rear-ended a woman's sedan on the South Side on Friday morning and sheriff's officials say the driver said it was Jesus' will because the other motorist was not “driving like a Christian.”The bizarre incident that shut down southbound U.S. 281 above the Medina River happened about 7:25 a.m.
“He just said God said she wasn't driving right, and she needed to be taken off the road,” said Lt. Kyle Coleman of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office."

Ok, maybe I'm just mean, but this video makes me want to burn tires in a pile and kick a puppy. Maybe it's just me.
"Joe" apparently thinks we shouldn't cover wars. Not that we actually do here in the States anyway, since we're fucking in two of them and I rarely see a drop of blood on the idiot box. While CNN's rant is somewhat accurate, CNN lecturing Joe The Plumber on war coverage is kind of like Fisher Price lecturing Tonka on proper nuclear plant management.

The Bush Boom: How a Misunderestimated President Fixed a Broken Economy looks like a real winner at Amazon. I'm particularly fond of the quote from a Discovery Institute think tanker (they created the terms "Exaflood" and "Intelligent Design"):
"Those who wish to debate economic policy on the basis of facts rather than opinion will find this book indispensable. -- Richard W. Rahn, Chairman of Novecon Financial and a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute."
Some of the reviews are fantastic.

Apologies for the slow posting.
Still catching up from the holidays, suffering a little burnout at work because a co-blogger left us high and dry, and trying to settle into a new home.

Watching CES coverage today.
Can't stop noticing that marketing departments have successfully obliterated the line between public relations and journalism/analysis.
More interesting to me perhaps is that absolutely nobody cares.
Still thinking I'm too right brained for a career in technology blogging. Considering new career in war profiteering. That or finger-painting. Can't decide.
